These incredible mid century club chairs were originally purchased for and used in one of the executive spaces in a major government building in the 1950s or 60s. They are incredibly beautiful, feature original wool bouclé upholstery, stunning finger joins, and lovely dark timber frames which I believe are walnut.
Measuring 59cm H x 79cm D x 77cm W, these are very similar in design to early Florence Knoll club chairs - and *may* be unmarked Knoll pieces, which would fit with the time period, construction, materials and budget of the government department that they originally came from. These chairs are in beautiful original condition, no holes in the upholstery, some slight shadows around the arms on close inspection.
